Ini Tema Hari Pariwisata Dunia sejak 1980

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Hari Pariwisata Dunia 2018 diperingati pada 27 September, dengan mengusung tema “Tourism and The Digital Transformation”.

Tanggal 27 September ditetapkan menjadi Hari Pariwisata Dunia atau World Tourism Day (WTD) oleh United Nation World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) pada waktu merancang anggaran dasarnya pada tahun 1970.

Namun baru di Torremolinos, Spanyol pada September 1979 oleh Majelis Umum Organisasi Pariwisata Dunia atau UNWTO memutuskan dan menetapkan 27 September sebagai WTD dan dimulai pada tahun 1980.
